![]() ![]() Selectable Storylines ( including one for Free Play ):Arguably one of the biggest new features in "New Horizons", the "Selectable Storylines" mod will enable you to select different main quests to play. However, be sure that there is a lot more new content than just that listed below. The following are a couple of the main features you will find in "New Horizons". Better still, there is a lot to enjoy even for those people who don't much care for the movies and it is entirely possible to play the game as a fully realistic period naval simulation, rather than a movie tie-in. We have come a long way since then, adding much new content and many new features, some of which were thought to be impossible to achieve even by the original game developers themselves.Īlthough the game is called "Pirates of the Caribbean" and a lot of movie-specific content has been added, that is not all that's been done. Whatever the case, it’s a rare look at a stage of development that up to now was unknown."Pirates of the Caribbean: New Horizons", also known as Pirates Ahoy! Community Build 14, has been in development ever since the release of Build 13 in early 2007. ![]() If this really is an earlier concept for what became “At World’s End,” it may be possible this is actually a whole year prior and the date is meant to be read as July 5, 2004. The file name of 04_07_05 seems to imply April 7, 2005, but the game concept shown here is different from what the GameCube build has to offer instead of a fixed camera with linear stages, this build has a free movement camera and you’re not given any linear path to traverse.īesides a couple of test rooms, only one textured level titled “Fort Prototype” is available, and it doesn’t seem to be anything in the GameCube build. It is theorized that this is a build of “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End”, this version appears to be even earlier than the GameCube build. “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Adventures of Jack Sparrow” is for the original Xbox and is more of an anomaly. ![]() (This was a joint release between us and our good friends at Gaming Alexandria!) ![]()
